Features of EditCNC: File transfer/DNC

This easy to use application, included with EditCNC, facilitates the up/downloading of CNC text files between your PC and CNC machines. Can be used to drip-feed (DNC) programs as well.

You can use ConnectCNC for any number of machines, and simultaneous transfer or DNC capability is is limited only by the number of available COM ports on your PC. Note that each of the CNC controls in your shop can have its unique configuration and port designation.

Our new Help file has step by step instructions for setting up DNC communications between CNC control and PC. We have included specific configurations for many popular controls. If your CNC control is not listed in our help file contact us - we're constantly adding to our collection!

Minimum system requirements for our software:
Any computer with Windows95 v950B or higher(32 bit), 98, ME, 2000 XP, NT, Vista.
Hardware requirements will depend on the size of CNC files processed with EditCNC and ConnectCNC.
However, ConnectCNC requires at least one serial COM port, or USB/RS232c port converter.
