Code Store not saving textHow to make sure it does! |

With the Administrator logged in: In your Windows Explorer go to “C:\Program Files\CNC Consulting\EditCNC\” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\CNC Consulting\EditCNC\”. Right-click on the file CodeStore.dat In the menu that pops up click “Properties" Under the “General” tab make sure “Read-only” is NOT checked. Click the “Security” tab. Edit the user permissions to ensure that all users can Read & execute, Read, Write. If you are not familiar with this process, please have a reputable tech do it for you. Click “Apply” if it is not greyed out. Click “OK” Right click “EditCNC.exe” and select Properties. Click the “Compatibility” tab. Check “Run this program in compatibility for…” and select “Windows XP (Service Pack ..)” Check “Run this program as administrator” Click “Change settings for all users” and set the properties as above. Click the “General” tab. Make sure the “Read Only” and “Hidden” checkboxes are NOT checked. After making these changes you may get a panel asking if EditCNC ran correctly, click “Yes” (unless, of course you encountered another problem). |
